Powerful Parents

This virtual get-together is a weekly advocacy coaching and support group designed to provide a supportive space for caregivers raising and loving neurodivergent children in a complicated world. Participants decide on topics and have included school choice, IEPs, challenging behaviors, parental self-care, disability rights, Medicaid waiver, and anything else that comes up organically for parents.

Powerful Parents is facilitated by Kate Lynch (she/her). Kate is the parent of a fantastic atypical kid. She has been teaching yoga and meditation to parents and cultivating a community since 2002. She is the author of the upcoming book Atypical Kids, Mindful Parents. Her little neurodiverse family lives in a magical land called Brooklyn.
