Family Programs

we offer monthly events for the whole family!

Designed for neurodivergent children and their families, we partner with other organizations to create inclusive, creative, and JOYFUL experiences.
We understand the need for families to have fun together without judgment, pity, or others trying to “fix” our kids. Connect with other families in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

Our next family gathering will be on November 23rd at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. Registration is required:

Discover EKC Family Gatherings at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum!

Register (required) and join us on the last Sunday of each month for an enriching afternoon designed for neurodivergent families. Together, we’re fostering a supportive community where everyone belongs.

Here’s what’s in store for you:

Museum Exploration: From 4 pm to 5 pm, families can embark on a journey of exploration and delight within the walls of the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, each at their own pace.

Family Gathering: From 5 to 6 p.m. families gather to enjoy a facilitated family activity.

Sip & Connect: CAA's Blue Hat will provide a free delicious café-style drink for each family member. Feel free to bring snacks as you connect with other families in a welcoming, judgment-free environment.

To ensure a comfortable experience, we’re limiting the number of participating families each month, considering spatial and sensory needs. Secure your spot with a non-refundable registration fee of $12 per family of up to four.

No family will be turned away due to financial constraints. Reach out to lovisa@extremekidsandcrew.org.
