COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

The safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers, participants, and their families are our top priority. To ensure the safety of all attendees, we have implemented the following COVID-19 safety guidelines for all Extreme Kids & Crew programs:

  1. All Extreme Kids & Crew staff are required to be vaccinated.

  2. As of September 1, 2022, masks are not required at our programs. However, participants are encouraged to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  3. Programs will adhere to the safety guidelines as outlined by the venue at which they are located and are subject to change based on the event; attendees will be given ample notice in the event of alternative or additional safety requirements.

  4. If an attendee develops symptoms or tests positive for COVID-19 within 14 days after the event, they must inform the staff of Extreme Kids & Crew immediately.

  5. If an attendee or anyone in their household is feeling unwell or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, they should not attend the event.

  6. If an attendee is not willing to comply with these guidelines, they will be asked to leave the event.

We understand that COVID-19 is a fluid situation and we will continue to monitor and adjust these guidelines as needed. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we take these necessary precautions to keep everyone safe.

We are excited to see you at our programs, and we will do everything we can to make sure your experience is fun and safe!

Please note that all guidelines are subject to change as per the recommendations from the local health authorities.

The New York Department of Health recommends the following to protect yourself and minimize the spread of COVID-19:

  • Stay home if you are sick. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or sleeve when sneezing or coughing — do not use your hands.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

  • Do not touch your face with unwashed hands.

  • Do not shake hands. Instead, wave or elbow bump.

  • If you have family or friends who are elderly, have compromised immune systems or chronic respiratory or coronary issues, do not visit them if you feel sick. Stay home and keep your loved ones safe.

  • Consider telecommuting, biking or walking to work if possible.

  • Consider staggering working hours. For example, instead of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., change some work hours to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or disinfecting wipes.

  • Get your flu shot. Although the flu shot will not protect you from COVID-19, it will help prevent the flu which has similar symptoms to this coronavirus.
