 how families join our programs


Interest Form Submission

  • Read about our current club offerings on the Programs page, and click on “Sign Up for Clubs.”

  • You will be taken to our interest form, which is in Google Forms. The interest form has some demographic questions, such as first and last name, email address, and club choices. 

  • After filling in the form, families will await an email response from one of our program staff to set up an intake call. (Note that interest form applications will be dropped if a family does not reply to our request for an intake call, or if a child is not of age for the corresponding program.)

Intake Process for New Families

  • During this call, we'll ask a few questions about the child – their interests, hobbies, challenges, and what they hope to gain from our programs.

Evaluation and approval

  • After the intake call, our team carefully reviews the information provided and determines if the child’s interest matches the program they are interested in.

  • Families will receive an email informing them if their child has been approved or not approved. Not receiving approval could result in staff determining that the child’s interest did not align with the program.

registration form completion

  • Once approved, families will receive a link to fill out the registration form. This form ensures we have all the necessary demographic information and also reserves their child’s roster spot in our club.

returning families

  • Children and families who previously attended a club cohort within the year will automatically receive the registration form via email from one of our program staff and do not have to go through the intake process. However, families that attended a club cohort a year or more ago will have to go through the intake process again.

confirmation and payment

  • After submitting the registration form, families will receive an email from our team to confirm their child is enrolled in the clubs they selected and a secure payment link of the cost of the programs they registered for. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.

welcome email

  • Once payment is received on our end, families will receive a welcome email and a social story (a visual story to describe a social situation. We use them to introduce families to a specific event, content, or skill) to correspond with their selected program.
