Join the Crew

At Extreme Kids & Crew, we are in the business of supporting people — and that includes our staff and volunteers. We're a small team where everyone's voice is heard and contributions are encouraged from volunteers to full-time staff. Working out of the Brooklyn Children’s Museum, our environment is collaborative, inclusive, fast-paced, creative, empathetic, and always fun. We’re always looking to expand our Crew, so if you're someone who is passionate about making a difference and enjoys thinking outside of the box, we're excited to meet you!

Our Values

We believe in the inherent right of every child to play and make art as it holds meaning to them, and we uphold every family's right to accurate information and support. We work tirelessly to create accessible spaces where young neurodivergent people, their friends, and families can socialize without fear of judgment or exclusion. In our commitment to accessibility, we aim to center the voices of the people and communities served in our programs and include them in our decision-making process. We strive to create a workplace that embraces a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and seek to ensure that everyone working at or with Extreme Kids & Crew feels comfortable and supported and supported for who they are.

Get Involved

At Extreme Kids & Crew, there are various ways to get involved and contribute to our mission:

  • Careers: We offer a range of full-time and part-time job opportunities. Whether you're interested in program development, administration, or other roles, there's a place for your skills and talents in our team.

  • Internships: We offer summer internships to students and non-students alike. Whether your interest lies in program development, child advocacy studies, communications, non-profit operation, or other related fields, you can gain invaluable experience while contributing meaningfully to our team.

  • Volunteering: We're always in need of passionate volunteers to support our work, and encourage individuals, teens seeking service hours, and corporate partners to reach out to get involved.

We believe that everyone has a role to play in creating a more inclusive world for neurodivergent individuals and their families. Join us and be part of this journey!
