This is a swimming experience for the child with disability, not a family/sibling event. They will be paired with an instructor in the water. Athletes need to be 5 years and up. If an athlete is not toilet trained, they do need to wear a swim diaper. The pool is wheelchair accessible so we can accept athletes with any type of disability. It will take place at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan.

KEEN Splash and Swim brings the KEEN formula to the swimming pool (athletes and volunteers come together for one-to-one activities in the water). A large variety of inflatable equipment makes even the most cautious athlete eager to get in the water and splash about. The program takes place in the shallow end of the pool and there is a certified lifeguard as well as a KEEN Coaches Committee member on deck at all times.

Families are welcome to sign up for one of the dates or both.  Because of the limited space and strong likelihood this will fill up quickly, we strongly request people do not sign up if they think they won't be able to make it.
