At EKC, our programs for youth and families are a critical part of our mission. Our youth programs help build a community for our often-marginalized youth by creating brave spaces and through meaningful play. Our family programs provide opportunities for neurodivergent youth and their siblings, parents, and other family members to play and learn together in a space in a judgment-free environment.
To make our programs more economically sustainable, starting in the summer of 2023, we will charge for youth and family programs using a tiered pricing structure.
All three tiers receive the same services and resources, with tier 3 representing numbers closer to our program costs. What tier is appropriate for youth/family? Each family gets to choose the three prices. EKC will never question any family’s choice of which they wish to pay for programs.

Family programs are returning in June and will travel among the boroughs. The prices reflect staff time, supplies, and cost of admission where applicable and cover a family of four. Family programs can be purchased individually (for $65 per program) or all seven (for $300 or $43 per program). Our August program to the Lonely Worm Farm is the only program fee to include transportation.
Youth programs, which last for eight-week blocks in the fall, winter, and spring, can be purchased individually (e.g., Rock Band for eight weeks in the fall) or as a three-season bundle (e.g., D & D for fall+winter+spring) for a discount vs. buying each season separately. In addition, youth programs can be virtual or in-person, with virtual programs priced significantly lower. -
Besides the bundled pricing mentioned above, we offer youth who register for more than one program in a session a 20% discount on the second program and beyond. Also, for siblings attending the same program in the same period, we offer a 20% discount on the second sibling and beyond.
